Acupuncture & Massage Therapy

Meet Jan Hill
Licensed Acupuncturist
I'm an intuitive healer and a natural empath, and I've used acupuncture to facilitate healing for my clients since 2006. I am licensed in Texas, hold a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine, nationally certified through NCCAOM as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, which encompasses acupuncture and herbal medicine.
I've always been a healer, but I didn't understand my healing capabilities as a child. From lulling my dad to sleep at the age of 4 and hearing my mom say I have healing hands since I was little to my college friends knocking on my dorm room door asking me to massage their shoulders to alleviate stress, healing has been my calling.
Licensed in massage therapy since 2000, I have a blended approach to healing that includes sound, lighting, and aromatherapy to calm the nervous system alleviating stress. Each acupuncture session is fine-tuned to individual needs and may also include a blend of cupping and massage.
My philosophy is to relax the body and regulate the nervous system to restore the body to its natural balance.

acupuncture
An ancient medicine that’s been practiced dating back thousands of years ago.
It’s the placement of very thin, sterile needles in specific acupuncture points on the body.
The needles stimulate Qi (pronounced chee), the life force, the energy that fuels the body. I like to compare Qi to ATP in conventional medicine-ATP is the fuel source in any living cell.
The organs are mapped onto the body from head to toe, front and back in specific channels/freeways. Acupuncture stimulates the nervous system and increases endorphins, which help restore the body to heal physically, mentally, and emotionally, balancing Qi, blood, yin, and yang.
